Go Berry-Picking

Go Berry-Picking
From late May to September, head out to Pescadero (just south of Half Moon Bay) for a morning of strawberry or olallieberry picking at Phipps Country Store and Farm and then head to lunch at Duartes in Pescadero for fresh cream of artichoke soup, sourdough bread and olallieberry pie.

Strawberries are ripe and ready for picking from around mid May through the end of September, depending on the weather.

Olallieberries are ripe and ready for picking from around the beginning of June through the end of July, depending on the weather.

U-pick strawberries and Olallieberries are a good way to teach gardening while reenacting "Dora the Explorer- Going on a Berry Hunt". Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the day berry picking, viewing the animals on property.
